Growing up, my dad and I were a lot alike. We both were extremely active in sports and life as a whole.

However, as I got older and the reality of marriage dawned on me, my life took a turn. I instantly went to juggling two children, a family business, and my marriage within a short period. With kids running around and managing the company, it’s best to say that the days were busy. Unfortunately, in the midst of my chaotic life, I lost track of time and my health.

However, it was only in my 40s when the effects of neglecting my health started erupting. I battled health issues, and the primary reason for it all, I realized, was obesity. Along with dealing with physical problems, I was also emotionally affected by my weight gain. With each day, my confidence spiraled downwards. Fortunately, it was only at my lowest that I realized, I didn’t have to feel this way. If there was anyone who can help me improve, it was myself.

Instead of feeling defeated and instead of resenting myself, I needed to be my best friend. When I understood this, the darkness dissolved, and motivation bloomed. On a mission to a healthy lifestyle, I researched several diets. Among the millions of methods, I was drawn to a Sustainable Approach — a lifestyle where eating and exercising blended well. With renewed determination, dedication, and discipline, I began my journey. Within a few months, I started seeing great results. I was back in shape, and more importantly, I was healthy and happy. I didn’t have to punish myself with strict diets or go on medication; I achieved all this simply by eating and exercising right.

It was truly a turning point in my life. From personal experience, I knew many women were battling the same in silence. I know that a vast majority neglect their health when dealing with life. Without a doubt, experience is the best teacher. The hardships I faced is now the reason why I can empathize with women dealing the same.

Inspired by my own journey, I decided to take this up as my labour of love, got certified as a nutritionist with a mission to help women stay healthy and fit. I sincerely believe that with proper guidance and motivation, anyone can reach their maximum potential.

My unwavering belief is “If I can do it, so you can” or for that matter anyone can. All you need to do is believe in yourself, and I will be here handholding and cheering you on till you reach your Goal.
